Junior Account Executive

Verenia is a Chicago fast-growing, software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, and leading sales acceleration provider in Lisle, Illinois, has an immediate opening for a professional, profoundly ambitious, and driven entry-level Account Executive who is ready to join an industry leader in a booming market.

As an Account Executive you will be working closely with the Verenia sales team on managing and completing complex sales-cycles, with a high level of exposure and presentation to our industry, prospects, and valued customers. You will be engaged in everything from prospecting to product demonstrations, in-market events. This role also has a unique opportunity to grow into company leadership.

Duties:

  • Drive CRM and CPQ software sales by engaging prospects and demonstrating value add for their business
  • Utilize our sales process and methodology to manage complex sales processes
  • Leverage partners and existing customers in the territory to support sales efforts
  • Manage relationships with our most strategic prospects and customers
  • Tap into our industry-leading lead database for a constant stream of potential clients
  • Meeting sales quota as well as other metrics used to manage the business
  • Travel may be required

Desired Experience:

  • You are a self-motivated individual with the ability to work from a home office
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not essential)
  • Prior experience in Business Development or Inside Sales roles
  • A strong desire to be in a fast-paced, team-orientated sales environment
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely on the phone or in-person
  • A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals, and achieving success
  • Excellent listening skills, fast at understanding new concepts

Compensation:

  • Opportunities to double base salary with OTE
